Theatre

I have loved musical theatre for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest theatre memories includes trips to the pantomime each Christmas at Eden Court Theatre in Inverness. I think that’s where my love of live theatre began, alongside burning out the VHS tape of The Sound of Music my family owned. Growing up, I was lucky enough to attend performing arts classes and Saturdays quickly became my favourite day of the week.

In my adult life, I try to visit the theatre as often as I don’t think there is anything that can replicate the emotion I feel when I hear the orchestra play out the very first note of an overture. Below you’ll find reviews from recent theatre trips, tips to save money on your next visit, news from the theatre world, opinion pieces and more!
